Joshua James

On January 6th, James served as security detail for a speaker at the Stop the Steal rallies. The government says James and others “aggressively berated and taunted US Capitol Police officers.”

They walked through the crowd in a common military formation to stay together. His group was one of the first to enter the Capitol.

James was arrested on 3/9/21. He plead not guilty to all charges on the Sixth Superseding Indictment. In the related case of Rhodes et al, James plead guilty to count 1 on 3/2. A sentencing in this case occurs on 1/26/24 at 3pm in Courtroom 10.
