Joseph Randall Biggs

Joseph Biggs holds a leadership position in the Florida Proud Boys chapter.  He went to D.C along with Ethan Nordean, Zachary Rehl, and Charles Donohoe (all Proud Boy Members from their respective states).  Biggs is pictured inside the capitol, he entered around 2:14 (around the time of first entry).   There is no evidence of any violence committed by Biggs.

Charges

Conspiracy (1) Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting (2) Destruction of Government Property and Aiding and Abetting (3) Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds (4) Disorderly Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds (5)

Case Status

Arrested 1/20/21 in the Middle District of Florida. Initial appearance 1/20/21 in the Middle District of Florida. Indicted 3/10 and arraigned 3/23 where he pleaded not guilty to counts 1-6. Defendant remains committed. On 6/9/22, Biggs plead not guilty to all counts put forth in the Third Superseding Indictment on 6/6. On 5/4/23, a jury found Biggs guilty of counts 1-6. A mistrial was declared on counts 7-8. He was found not guilty of count 9. He was sentenced on 8/31/23 to 204 months in prison and 36 months of probation. In addition, he was ordered to pay a total of $600 in special assessments.
