Douglas Wyatt

Wyatt is pictured spraying a chemical irritant at a group of Police while outside the Capitol Building around 2:30 on January 6th.  He also handed a wood plank to Jacob Therres, who then proceeds to throw it at a Police Officer.   These actions occured among a large group outside the Capitol Building.  Actions before and after this time window are not detailed.

Case Status

Arrested 11/14/22. On 11/15/2022, Wyatt was released on personal recognizance. Status hearing set for 01/31/2023 at 1:00 PM by Telephonic/VTC before Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather. This was vacated. However, status conferences have now continued, and the next one takes place on 6/15 at 1pm virtually.
