He and others allegedly stood near the front of the crowd when police barricades were dismantled. He allegedly pushed on the barricades and was sprayed with police with pepper spray.

On 6/14/22, Ashlock entered a guilty plea as to count 5s of the Superseding Indictment. Sentencing held on 11/10/2022, sentenced on Count 5 to 70 days of Incarceration followed by 12 months of Supervised Release (with conditions). $25 Special Assessment and Restitution in the amount of $500.00. Counts 1, 1s, 2, 2s, 3, 3s, 5, 6, and 6s were dismissed on oral motion by the government.
