Suleski claimed that the only reason he entered the Capitol was because he saw
other people enter. He further alleged that he did not see anyone fighting with the Capitol
police until he was inside the building. He stated, upon entry, that he nodded at a Capitol Police Officer, who then nodded back. There is no account of violence on Suleski’s behalf, and he denied stealing any property.

Case Status
Arrested 3/10/21 and initial appearance held 3/15/21. Released on personal recognizance on 3/16/21. Indicted 5/26/21. Arraigned 6/1/21 and entered a plea of not guilty as to all counts. On 7/6/22, Suleski entered a plea of guilty as to counts 1 and 2. On 10/14/22, he was sentenced to 60 days of incarceration, a $50 special assessment, $500 in restitution, and 60 hours of community service. Counts 1-5 of the original Indictment were dismissed on Oral Motion of the Government.
