Federico Klein

Klein entered the Capitol with the crowd on Jan. 6th. He allegedly threw a police shield towards officers who were trying to people from entering. The field fell between doors so officers couldn’t close them.

Civil Disorder (1) Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting (2) Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Oflicers Using a Dangerous Weapon (3) Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds (4) Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds (5) Engaging in Physical Violence in a Restricted Building or Grounds (6) Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building Act of Physical Violence in the Capitol Grounds or Buildings

Case Status

Federico Klein was arrested on 3/4/21. He pleaded not guilty to all counts on 03/25/21. Conditions of release were set on 04/12/21. Klein appears to have been merged with Case #21-cr-00040 (McCaughey et al) on 08/04/21 in #102 Fourth Superseding Indictment. Pretrial Conference for Group 1 set for 7/22/2022 at 10:00 AM in Courtroom 2- In Person before Judge Trevor N. McFadden. Pretrial Conference for Group 2 set for 8/23/2022 at 10:00 AM in Courtroom 2- In Person before Judge Trevor N. McFadden. It is unclear which "group" Klein is assigned to.
