Jeffrey Scott Brown

Brown is seen on surveillance in the tunnel with the crowd. Someone in the crowd handed him pepper spray and he allegedly directed this at officers.

Case Status

Brown was arrested on 8/26/21. Hearings were held on 8/31, 10/28, and 11/5. His motion for pretrial detention is being appealed. On 11/5/21, Brown pleaded not guilty to all counts. On 12/6/22, a jury found Brown guilty of counts 2, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. On 4/28/23, he was sentenced to 54 months in prison followed by 36 months of probation.
