William Rogan Reid

A tipster reported to the FBI that he/she recognized Reid in a video taken inside the Capitol on January 6th.  There is no detail of any violence committed by Reid.  However, he was charged with altering/tampering with a concealed document while inside the Capitol.

Case Status

Arrested 4/1/21. Reid entered a not guilty plea as to all counts on 4/28 and on 9/9. Superseding Indictment issued 7/28. On 9/9, Reid plead not guilty to all counts a second time. After a bench trial on 8/23, he was issued a guilty verdict as to all counts. Sentencing is 12/7 at 10 am in Courtroom 14.
