Josiah Hueso

Hueso admitted entering the Capitol in an interview outside of the building with CNN. He appears to walk peacefully on surveillance. Hueso told the FBI that he did not break or touch anything inside of the building, despite the fact he saw others doing so.

Case Status

Hueso was arrested on 5/25/22 and released on personal recognizance. Indicted on 6/24. On 7/27, he plead not guilty to all charges during an arraignment. A joint status report was due on 12/5. On 5/1/23, he plead guilty to count 4. On 8/8/23, he was sentenced to 36 months of probation and was ordered to pay a $10 special assessment and $500 restitution.
