Jonathan Gennaro Mellis

Mellis allegedly struck an officer who was incessantly beating Roseanne Boyland. Boyland told police she was unable to move because of the crowd around her. She later died as a result of injuries sustained that day.

Case Status

Arrested 2/26/21. Arraigned and pleaded not guilty to all counts 3/23/21. A bond hearing was re-opened and took place on 6/3/22 and 6/6/22. There is a motion hearing 6/22/2022 at 12:15 PM in Telephonic/VTC before Judge Emmet G. Sullivan. Remains committed.
