Gould and Jonathan Laurens entered the Capitol doors and walked through the crowd into the Rotunda peacefully. The proceeded into the Rayburn Reception, where Gould took a picture of the empty room like a tourist.

Case Status

Gould was arrested on 3/15/22 and ordered released. His preliminary hearing took place on 9/20. On 12/5/22, he plead guilty to count 4. On 4/28/23, Gould was sentenced to 12 months probation with 2 months of home confinement and location monitoring as a condition. In addition, he was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $500 and a $10 special assessment.
