Jerry McKane Waynick

Jerry Waynick and his father Mark allegedly pushed against officers lined up by the barricades on the West front of the Capitol. Jerry is also accused of throwing a cone at officers in this area.

Both men were supposedly inside of the Capitol for 25-30 minutes.

Case Status

Jerry Waynick was arrested o 2/17/22 and appeared initially in court on 3/10. He was ordered released on personal recognizance. Indicted 5/17/23. On 5/23/23, he plead not guilty to all counts. The last status conference was on 7/24, and the next one is on 9/22/23 at 2pm virtually. Jury selection/trial starts 3/25/24 at 9am in Courtroom 11.
