Social media posts and photographs show Gerding and his wife inside the Capitol on Jan. 6th. They do not appear to be engaged in any violence.

Case Status

Gerding was arrested on 1/28/21. Released on personal recognizance on 2/2/21. Gerding pleaded not guilty to all counts on 2/26/21. The status conference scheduled for April 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. is rescheduled to June 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom videoconference, the details of which will be provided the morning of or in advance of the hearing.
