Loehrke and Haffner were among the first individuals over the trampled barricades and into the West Plaza (shortly before 1 PM, before the conclusion of President Trump’s Speech). They both take part in removing and reorganizing metal barriers and are constantly on the “front lines”. Haffner is captured on video spraying what appears to be a chemical irritant at Police right near the Columbus Doors entrance (near the Rotunda). Both made their way into various parts of the Capitol Building.
