Jake Maxwell

Maxwell is accused of pushing a Capitol Police officer’s riot shield after the officer attempted to push him away. His arm was hooked around the officer’s baton and he supposedly grabbed it to pull away.

Maxwell was arrested on 2/10/22 and appeared in court on 2/17. During an arraignment on 4/25, he plead not guilty to all counts. His last status conference was on 6/23. The next status conference was scheduled on 8/23 at 4pm, but the court is rescheduling.
