Howard Charles Richardson

Richardson allegedly assaulted a Metropolitan Police Officer with a flagpole. He told officers he was responding to something coming at him. He also states he was provoked by infiltrators within the crowd.

Case Status

Richardson was arrested on 11/30/21 and indicted on 12/8. On 4/27/22, he plead guilty to count 2. On 8/26, Richardson was sentenced to 46 months incarceration with credit for time served. In addition, he was ordered to a 36 month period of supervised release and directed to pay a $100 special assessment.
