Gietzen is accused of pushing against a Capitol Police Officer’s shield. He allegedly thrust a pole toward police. He is seen in the West Terrace in the same area where Roseanne Boyland later passed away at the hands of Capitol Police. It is possible Gietzen was acting to defend those around him.
