Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds (1) Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds (2) Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building (3) Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building (4)

Case Status

Ballenger was arrested was arrested on 8/9/21 and initially appeared in court on 8/12. Placed on personal recognizance bond on 08/12/21. Case #21-mj-00550 CLOSED on 12/08/21. NEW CASE #21-cr-00719: Entered a plea of not guilty as to all counts on 12/13/21, and again on 3/10/22. During a bench trial, Ballenger was found guilty of counts 1-4. On 9/29/2023, she was sentenced to 4 months incarceration and 9 months of probation. She was also ordered to pay special assessments totaling $70 and restitution in the amount of $500. On 2/29/24, it was ordered she surrender no earlier than 3/1/24.
