Thomas B. Adams Jr.

Thomas Adams is alleged to have trampled over police barricades, according to an article by Insider.

Adams used his cell phone to record himself and a friend inside the Capitol. He was concerned when a police officer ripped his friend’s glasses off in an attempt to mace him. Adams attempted to find the glasses on the floor as people were being forced out of the side doors.

Case Status

Adams Jr. was arrested on 4/13/21 and made his initial appearance on 4/16/21. He was released on personal recognizance on 4/16/21. He plead not guilty to all counts on 6/2/21. Bench Trial concluded on 1/30/23, the Court found Adams Jr. guilty on Counts 1 and 2. Sentencing held on 6/16/2023, sentenced to 14 months of incarceration and 36 months of supervised release as to Count 1; sentenced to 12 months of incarceration and 36 months of supervised release as to Count 2. All terms to run concurrently.
