After he was arrested on the scene, he apologized to the officer while in custody.

Leffingwell as arrested on 1/7/21. He initially appeared in court the same day and was placed on personal recognizance. Arraigned 1/29/21, Leffingwell plead not guilty to all counts. Superseding Indictment filed 4/9/2021. Arraigned 6/3/21 and plead not guilty to Counts 1-7. Plea Agreement Hearing held, 10/26/21, he plead guilty to count 2 of the Superseding Indictment. Sentencing held on 2/10/2022, sentenced to 6 months incarceration with credit for time served, He was also sentenced to 24 months of supervised release, a $100.00 special assessment, and restitution in the amount of $2,000.00. Oral Motion by the Government to dismiss all remaining Counts, heard and granted.
