Bochene was arrested on 5/13/21 and initially appeared in court on 5/25/21. On 05/27/21, conditions of release (personal recognizance) were set. On 7/1/21, he plead not guilty to all counts. Bochene's motion to dismiss the case was dismissed on 12/21/22. The court ordered a competency hearing before trial, which is often a standard procedure. As of Feb. 2023, this has not taken place.
