When apprehended inside the Capitol and ordered by police to put his hands up, Jensen led the crowd toward an officer, forcing him to retreat. He chased the officer up a staircase until apprehended.

Jensen self-surrendered and was indicted on 1/11/21. He has pleaded not guilty on 2/23/21, on 6/8/21. On 7/13/21, Jensen's first motion for bond (doc #21) was granted- released to home incarceration with GPS monitoring. Pretrial release was revoked (see doc #34) on 9/2/21. On 11/30/21, he entered another not guilty plea to all counts. Jury Trial held from 9/20/2022 to 9/23/2022 as to Counts 1sss - 7sss, verdict of guilty to all counts. Sentencing held on 12/16/2022, sentenced to 60 months of Incarceration on Count 1sss to run concurrently with counts 2sss - 7sss, followed by 36 months of Supervised Release. $100 Special Assessment. Counts 2sss-5sss received the same 60 months of incarceration to run concurrently with counts 1sss, 6sss and 7sss, however for counts 6sss and 7sss Jensen received a sentence of 6 months of incarceration to run concurrently with counts 1sss-5sss.
