Caldwell was arrested on 2/10/21. During an arraignment on 4/17, he pleaded not guilty to all counts. He has been ordered detained prior to trial, although his detention has been challenged twice by defense. On 9/26/22, Caldwell entered a plea of guilty as to count 2. On 2/1/23, Caldwell was sentenced to 68 months incarceration followed by 36 months supervised release and a special assessment of $100.
