Biden DOJ Charges Enrique Tarrio and Four Others with ‘Seditious Conspiracy’ for Jan. 6 Protests Despite Fact that Tarrio Was Not Even in DC on Jan. 6th

After peacefully serving his prison sentence related to the high crime of “burning a BLM flag” in Washington DC during a series of peaceful protests in December of 2021, former Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio got a visit from federal law enforcement officials in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 8th.

According to local news reports, the Afro-Cuban political activist was dragged from bed and arrested in his underwear on charges related to a superseding indictment that is tied to 5 other Proud Boys in relation to the January 6th protests in Washington DC.

Tarrio was neither at the US Capitol during the protests or involved in any violence during that day. In fact he was not even in town that day. Yet, the FBI jackboots were sent by the Department of Justice to South Florida to carry out the early morning raid nonetheless.

Funny how local news knew where to be as FBI agents converged on Tarrio’s residence, we’re sure they didn’t get any advanced notice or access to sealed indictments.

On Monday the corrupt Department of Justice announced new made-up charges against Enrique Tarrio and four others.

Tarrio and four other Proud Boys were charged with “seditious conspiracy” for their actions on January 6.

That’s a new one.

Tarrio did not enter the US Capitol and was not even in town that day!

Federal authorities have charged Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the right-wing Proud Boys extremist group, and four co-defendants with seditious conspiracy in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Tarrio, 38, is believed to have created a “special chapter” of the Proud Boys known as the “Ministry of Self Defense,” according to prosecutors. The Proud Boys allegedly used the MOSD group to coordinate actions on Jan. 6.

Tarrio was the national chairman of the Proud Boys through at least Jan. 6, the DOJ says.

The seditious conspiracy charge carries a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years upon conviction.

“On Jan. 6, 2021, the defendants directed, mobilized, and led members of the crowd onto the Capitol grounds and into the Capitol, leading to dismantling of metal barricades, destruction of property, breaching of the Capitol building, and assaults on law enforcement,” the Department of Justice said Monday in a press release Monday. “During and after the attack, Tarrio and his co-defendants claimed credit for what had happened on social media and in an encrypted chat room.”

Tarrio, along with Ethan Nordean, 31, Joseph Biggs, 38, Zachary Rehl, 37, and Dominic Pezzola, 44, have already been charged with conspiracy to obstruct and obstruction of an official proceeding, obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder, destruction of government property, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers.
