Kevin Loftus

Loftus admitted to walking on what he thought was the top floor of the U.S. Capitol where
he took several photos while he was inside the building walking around.  There is no evidence of any violence committed by Loftus.

Case Status

Arrested 1/15/21 and initial appearance held the same afternoon- placed on personal recognizance. Charged via criminal information 2/4. Arraigned and plead not guilty to all counts on 2/8. Plea Agreement Hearing held 10/19/21, entered a plea of guilty to count 4. On 3/15/22, Loftus was sentenced to 3 years of probation, $500 restitution and $10 special assessment.
