Sandra Suzanne Weyer

Sandra Pomeroy Weyer allegedly videotaped the attack on a New York Times reporter on Jan 6th.  Weyer is also pictured inside the Capitol Building in her Charging Documents, but nowhere in it does it reference violence committed by her.

Please keep in mind that in the United States, every citizen charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Obstruction of Proceedings, Aiding and Abetting (1) Restricted Building or Grounds (2) Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds (3) Violent Entry or Disorderly Conduct (4) Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing a Capitol Building (5)

Case Status

Arrested 6/28/21 and initial appearance held the same afternoon. Released on personal recognizance on 7/1/21. Entered a not guilty plea to all counts on 2/11/22. Bench Trial held/concluded on 6/6/23, verdict of guilty as to Counts 1-5. Sentencing set for 9/14/2023 at 10:00 AM in Courtroom 22A- In Person before Chief Judge James E. Boasberg.
