Micajah Joel Jackson

Jackson created social media posts of himself mixed with historic quotes documenting his presence at the Capitol.  He approached the Capitol Building with the Proud Boys.  At approximately 2:22 PM, Jackson entered the Capitol through the Senate Wing Door.  Jackson exited the Capitol through the East Rotunda Doors at approximately 2:51 PM.  He is pictured throughout the day wearing what appears to be orange duct tape around his left arm.  There is no detail of any violence committed by Jackson.

Please keep in mind that in the United States, every citizen charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Case Status

Arrested 5/18/21. Initial appearance held 5/24/21. Placed on personal recognizance on 05/27/2021. Preliminary hearing held on 7/23/21. Arraignment held the same day. He plead not guilty of counts 1-4. On 11/22, Jackson plead guilty to count 4. On 3/24/22, Jackson was sentenced to 36 months probation, a $10.00 special assessment, and restitution in the amount of $500. Counts 1-3 dismissed on oral motion by the government.
